Destruction of Special Education Records for
Gila Bend Unified School District #24
Pursuant to ARS 41-1347 the Gila Bend Unified School District destroys all psychological and special education records for students five years after the students have been dismissed from special education or have been withdrawn from the district. The Gila Bend Unified School District maintains a permanent record of the student’s special education services with the student’s name, date of birth, ethnicity and special education eligibility.
Please note that the Gila Bend Unified School District will be destroying special education records of any student who graduated or left the district historically (five years).
