As part of our commitment to providing a safe and healthy learning environment, the District is providing its annual notification regarding the Asbestos Hazard Emergency Response Act (AHERA) Management Plan.
Federal law requires all school districts to maintain an up-to-date AHERA Management Plan for each school building. These plans document inspections, response actions, and activities related to asbestos-containing building materials.
The District's AHERA Management Plan is available for public review during normal business hours at the District Office. Community members who wish to review the plan may do so by contacting the District Office to arrange a convenient time.

Beginning July 1, 2026, new Arizona Healthy Schools Act (HB 2164) guidelines are in effect to help create a healthier learning environment for all students.
Here's what families should know:
✅ No outside food, drinks, or treats may be brought to school for classroom celebrations or to share with students.
✅ Staff members may not bring outside food into classrooms either.
✅ School fundraisers involving food and beverages must meet state nutrition standards.
✅ Students may still bring their own lunch and snacks from home for personal use—they just cannot be shared with others.
These updates help support healthier habits, student wellness, and a safe learning environment for every Monster.
